Arif
Mahmood was born on 10th November, 1960. He took up photography in 1985 and started Editorial/Commerical Photography in 1988. His work has appeared in various international publications including Newsweek (USA), Gulf News (UAE), Zameen (UK) and Khaleej Times (UAE). |
| His work has also appeared in all major
publications in Pakistan, including Dawn, The
News, Herald, Newsline, Libas, She and Xtra.
He held the position of Photo-Editor for Xtra Magazine (Pakistan). Contributer to SIPA photo agency based in Paris. He has also held four solo exhibitions of his work in Karachi (Pakistan), Lahore (Pakistan) and Los Angeles(USA). He was President of the Photographic Society of Karachi (1999). He assisted National Geographic photographers in 1997-1998. |
